TERMS  OF SERVICE

Invoices

The Business will invoice the Client prior to completion of milestone(s) or the Project, unless otherwise noted in the payment schedule. The Client agrees to pay invoice(s) by the due date(s) specified. The Business will bill for overtime at the standard hourly rate as noted in the invoice. Additional time or services rendered, not quoted in the initial invoice, are to be paid in full to the Business by the client, same day/ prior to the Artist's departure, upon completion of Artist services . Unpaid or overdue invoices may result in the artist's delay or termination of participation in the Project.

Payment methods

Payment will be made to the Business via one of the following forms: Zelle, Amex, Mastercard, Visa, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp and Cash. Cash can only be used to settle same-day balances. A service processing fee of 3.49% will be applied when using a credit card or app other than Zelle.

Refund Policy

Payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable after 72 hours. Refunds will be made in the original form of payment and may take up to 7-10 business days to process.

Termination of contract

The service end date is noted on the invoice. unless one of the parties terminates service before that time. Payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable after 72 hours. If one of the parties chooses to terminate service prior to the completion of the Project, the Client is responsible for payment of all work quoted in the invoice up until that date.

If the artist cancels at any time or is unable to render the service for any reason, all money paid for services not rendered, will be fully refunded in the original form of payment. Refunds may take up to 7-10 business days to process. Client agrees that the refund of 100% of the deposit is the only liability to the Business, and any and all of its owners, employees and agents.

Location and Artist Requirements

The service location will be at the discretion of the Client, where a working outlet, a ‘set-up’ table (of at least 33" x 33") and a work area will be made available for use by the artist.

Parking and Travel Fees

A travel fee is required for booking. The fee is added to the total at checkout and on all invoices provided. Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred; the amount will be included with the final bill and due for payment on the day of the event.

Airfare & Accommodations

All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs may include, but are not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation, parking, per diem, service incidentals and all taxes.

Use of Image

Unless previously discussed and approved, @MakeupbyTajlia may use on it’s website and / or in any other advertising it deems necessary - any and all photographs, video, audio captured or recorded by @MakeupbyTajlia. Client(s) agree to release any and all claims regarding use of his / her image for such purposes. Client(s) also agrees to release name and contact information of professional photographers / videographers photographs and recordings. 

Acknowledgement of the Terms of Service serves as a release to client(s) photographer / videographer and authorizes them to release to @MakeupbyTajlia and its owners, agents and employees any photographs / recordings to use on any promotional materials @MakeupbyTajlia deems necessary. 

Initial Severability

If any provisions of this agreement shall be held to be invalid, illegal, unenforceable or in conflict with any of the law(s) of any jurisdiction, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby. 

Release of Liability

All hair and makeup tools are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every application. Any allergies, skin conditions and sensitivities should be reported by the Client to the artist prior to application. If need be, a sample test of products may be performed on the skin to test a reaction. Client(s) agree to release the artist, Hairstyling and Makeup by Tajlia Horry, it’s owners, and all employees and agents from liability due to allergic reaction.

Modifications

The Client and the Business must agree to any changes to the terms of service in writing.

Authority to sign

Each party has the authority to enter into the agreement for services and to perform all of its obligations as agreed and acknowledged ;by payment
